    Aqua Swimming (established in 1993) provides 'high-quality' private swimming tuition and coaching for pre-school children, young swimmers and competitive swimmers at heated indoor swimming pools in Sevenoaks (Kent) and Pembury (Tunbridge Wells, Kent).

Kent College Pool

Directions:

Kent College, Pembury: From M25 follow A21 past Tonbridge. Half a mile after the end of the dual carriageway turn left directly after Fairthorne Garage and left again at T-junction. Entrance to school swimming pool is approx 300 metres on right hand side. From Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells or Hastings approach school via A228. From Pembury take next left (after approx three quarters of a mile) signposted Kent College.

Changing Rooms

Separate male and female facilities are available with their own toilets and showers. Please note: male parents/carers of girls under the age of 8 should use the male changing room.

Viewing

Parents may view the lessons from the seating provided in the pool area. Parents are requested to keep tight control of other children brought onto the poolside and refrain from using any of the school facilities apart from the car park, swimming pool and its changing facilities.

Equipment

Floats, play equipment and other buoyancy aids are provided. Swimmers must provide their own costume and towel. Goggles may be worn but must be properly adjusted before the commencement of the lesson.

Hats

A swimming hat will be given to each swimmer on the Aqua Swimming programme.  The colour of hat indicates the Stage at which a swimmer is working on, as follows:
Navy: Pre-school,Beginner 1 & 2
Red: Intermediate 1 & 2
Green: Improver 1
Royal Blue: Improver 2
Pale
Blue: Improver 3
When a swimmer moves to a different Stage, they will be given a differrent coloured hat if appropriate.
Swimming hats must be worn by all swimmers during the swimming lessons.
